Access to get to Ezile Bay at Akwidaa

From Accra: The fastest and most comfortable way is to fly(Antrak Air or Starbow)up to Takoradi (from 30 to 50$ one way). Otherwise take a bus to Takoradi from Kaneshie bus station or at STC station(about 5h drive).
If you have your own vehicle, take the coastal road via Cape Coast to reach Takoradi.

 

From Lomé (11 h): Cross Ghanaian border in Aflao, then take the coastal road to Accra.

From Abidjan (7 h):Take Grand Bassam road, continue up to Aboisso. Cross Ghanaian border at Elubo. Follow the road up to Agona Junction, then take the direction of Dixcove (straight).  After 7km, turn right in the direction of Cape Three Points. Follow the dirt road on 20km up to Ezile Bay Village.

By public transport: Take a tro-tro to either to Akwidaa old town then cross the bridge over the river by foot, follow the path along the coast through the hill 300m to Ezile Bay Village, or a tro tro up to Akwidaa New Town and walk to Ezile Bay (5 minutes)

From Takoradi (1h15mn): Take the road to Axim and Elubo from Takoradi up to Agona Junction.
If you have your own vehicle: Take the direction of Dixcove. After 7km, turn right in the direction of Cape Three Points. Follow the dirt road on 20km up to Ezile Bay Village.
By public transport: Take a tro-tro to either to Akwidaa old town then cross the bridge over the river by foot, follow the path along the coast through the hill 300m to Ezile Bay Village, or a tro tro up to Akwidaa New Town and walk to Ezile Bay (5 minutes)

From Ouagadougou (16 h): Take the road to Ghana via Pô, cross the border in Paga. Take the direction of Tamale, then Kumasi. Then take the road of Takoradi by Cape Coast.
By public transport, take STC bus up to Kumasi then another bus up to Takoradi.
